顾定国（Gregory E.Guldin），1950年出生，是美国太平洋路德大学中国研究中心主任和人类学系教授、亚洲问题专家。应用人类学家。曾主编出版《中国的都市人类学》。《都市化中的中国》和《人类学在中国――对学科的界定》等著作。

韦涅季克特•叶罗费耶夫（1938—1990），俄罗斯天才作家。早年在莫斯科大学就读时就表现出是一个“天生的语言学家”，但他一生大部分时间却只能混迹底层，当过装卸工、酒瓶收购员、地质钻探工、图书管理员等工作，其足迹曾遍及乌克兰、白俄罗斯以及俄罗斯的莫斯科州、北极地区等地。叶罗费耶夫从少年时代起就开始写作，但是由于生性懒散、不善管理，大部分作品都已散佚或没有完成。他完成并已出版的著作有《从莫斯科到佩图什基》《滑稽演员眼中的瓦西里• 罗赞诺夫》《女妖五朔节之夜，或骑士的脚步》等。 译者张冰，北京师范大学教授。译有俄罗斯文学作品多种。
